Your Excuses Won’t Change Your Life — Your Actions Will
I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend.
Like a lot of people, I enjoyed it… maybe a little too much 😅
Now it’s time to reset and get back on track.
I wanted to share something personal with you all.
This past week I was diagnosed with the early stages of Parkinson’s Disease.
Right now, my symptoms are mild—mostly tremors and some neurological stuff—but I’m staying hopeful and focused on what I can control.
One of the biggest things? Exercise. It’s been shown to help slow progression and manage symptoms, and that gives me a lot of motivation to keep moving.
I’m not sharing this for sympathy or excuses. I’m sharing it because we all have things that make this journey harder at times. Injuries. Stress. Health issues. Life. None of us are immune to obstacles.
It’s easy to look at someone else and think, “That’s easy for them.” But behind the scenes, everyone is fighting something.
Progress doesn’t require perfection. It requires effort and consistency—whatever that looks like for you.
Maybe today that means a short walk. Maybe it means getting back into the gym. Maybe it just means making one better food choice.
No negative self talk today. No excuses.
Just movement. Just effort. Just starting where you are.
Let’s make today the day we choose to move forward. 💪
